Equally Wed is the market leader for LGBTI Weddings, providing an online directory, planning tools and magazine. We are currently looking for an entrepreneurial type digital marketer with a true passion about expanding the brand through social media, content marketing and SEM to join us on what will surely be a roller coaster ride. We are on a mission to find the right person who is tech savvy, motivated and a passionate person that is ready to make a mark in the digital marketing industry.
Our rapidly expanding wedding directory is updated daily with new service providers and venues that wish to list with us the market leader. This is a chance for businesses to display their support for Marriage Equality. Our platform provides a space where LGBTQI customers can plan their wedding without fear of rejection.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer interaction through memorable social media campaigns, targeted content creation and digital marketing techniques for online media.
Our successful candidate will:
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Digital Marketing industry.
Strong marketing analytics skills in order to assess and advise best direction for marketing streams.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent content writing / editorial skills for the blog.
Managing & editing content submitted by external clients.
Remain on the forefront of new social media tools, trends and apps.
Develop, manage and ultimately own the social media channels (Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, G+, Stumble upon, Snapchat, Youtube/Vimeo) with third party software.
Define and create eDM campaigns targeting LGBTI couples.
Work closely with the founder on campaigns, branding and reporting.
Regularly liaise with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and news/PR content.
In depth knowledge and understanding of LGBTQI community culture, issues and current news.
Excellent Photoshop & Illustrator skills a must.
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Available for up to four weekends for LGBT focused festivals, Fair Day, Mardi Gras, Chillout etc.
